FUND RAISING OPPORTUNITY updated image
Albertsons Boise Open Presented by Kraft
Monday Sep 8 – Sunday Sep 14, 2008
Hillcrest Country Club · Boise, Idaho
  • Purse: $725,000
  • Winning Share: $130,500
For those of you new to this fundraiser,  Albertson's/SuperValu and Sara Lee host the Boise Open annually. This is a premier event on the Nationwide Tour and has been the launching pad for many players onto the PGA tour. It is broadcast on The Golf Channel, which is seen internationally - who knows, you could be on TV if you go to the tournament!

This is a win/win project for everyone!
Your player's account will be credited with 100% of the proceeds he/she raises. Put his/her name on the order form where it says 'Organization Representative'. Then that information will be relayed to us in a monthly report from the Boise Open.

In addition to the benefit for our individual players, the Boise Capitals will also receive credit for the entire # of tickets sold with our name on the order form. At the conclusion of the tournament, additional grants are made by the Albertson's Foundation to local non-profit organizations in order to support their on-going programs. These presentations are made based on the number of tickets sold by the organizations. These proceeds will be used for support of our S.C.O.R.E. program. See http://boisecapitals.com/score.php for more information regarding this community outreach program.

We are asking that you, your friends, family members and/or business associates consider purchasing tickets to the Boise Open to be held in September, 2008. The prices are approximately 25% less than direct purchase and there are no handling/processing fees. Tickets purchased online will be mailed directly to the consumer. The purchaser must indicate that the tickets were sold to benefit a particular player or the club in general.

Sales can begin immediately and continue through August. There are order forms and a page of additional information on this website under 'Fundraising'. All of the receipts from ticket sales will be recorded in the designated player accounts or, if no player designation is included, deposited in the Boise Capitals' general fund.
