Boise Capitals Hire New Directors
The Boise Capital Soccer Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Ross Schultz as the Executive Director for day to day operations. Ross has been involved in all facets of soccer at the local and regional level for over a decade. During these years, he has been a Team coach and the Club’s Development Coordinator, as well as helping to coordinate the tournaments hosted by the Boise Capitals.
Ross has also been involved as a referee for the youth and high school leagues. At the Regional level, he manages soccer events for US Club Soccer. Ross earned his teaching degree from BSU, following a 27-year career in the Coast Guard. You can reach Ross at ross.schultz@boisecapitals.com.
The Boise Capitals have also hired Eric Simmonsen as the Technical Director for all players ages U16-U18. Eric brings 16+ years of competitive club soccer coaching experience to this position. He has excellent credentials, including a USSF "A" License, an NSCAA "Premier" Diploma, and a USSF "Youth" License.
Eric has been a member of the Idaho (IYSA) State Instructional Staff, the ODP Age Group Staff, and the Region IV ODP Girls' Staff. He is an Assistant Coach for the Boise State University women’s soccer team, the 2009 WAC Champions. Eric’s contact information is eric.simmonsen@boisecapitals.com.
