Capitals Player Justin Hill Caps Prep Career with Another Gatorade Honor

Boise High senior Justin Hill has been named Gatorade Idaho Boys Soccer Player of the Year for the second year in a row. The 5-foot-10, 155-pound midfielder recorded 16 goals and two assists as he helped guide the Braves (13-2-6) to the 5A state semifinals. Hill is a two-time Southern Idaho Conference player of the year and ad 1992 U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV Olympic Development Program team member. "He has exceptional physical attributes," said Dave Chesler, the former Boise Capitals Director of Coaching. "He's got pace. He's big and strong. Technically he does things with the ball that you don't often see. He's a very hard worker, and his attitude is unbelieveable." Hill has signed a letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this fall. (Jesse Zentz, Idaho Statesman)
